Adding Styling with HTML Tags

This page shows you how to apply styling to your text in the “Description” and “How to apply” boxes of the job form, using HTML tags. This isn’t ideal, so please excuse our tardiness, but we are working on getting a simple editor installed.

In the meantime, if you wish to add styling, which you do not have to, then we allow the use of the following tags:

Bold
Tags: <strong></strong>
Example: <strong>The deadline for submissions is 30th July </strong>
Result: The deadline for submissions is 30th July

Italics
Tags: <em></em>
Example: <em>The deadline for submissions is 30th July </em>
Result: The deadline for submissions is 30th July

Email link
Tags: <a href=”mailto:[email protected]”></a>
Example: Email CVs to <a href=”mailto:[email protected]”>[email protected]</a>
Result: Email CVs to [email protected]

Bullet points
Bullet points are also acceptable, but we won’t explain here, as things start to get a bit messy. Instead, we recommend that you use the humble dash when creating a list, for example:

- Requirement 1
- Requirement 2
- Requirement 3

Easy.

Please contact us if you have any questions about applying HTML tags.
