Job description
We are a small web based company in north London that provides online advertising portals for the education, conservation and now London events sector.
We are looking for a social media intern to help boost the online profile of our site through utilising facebook, twitter, blogging, press releases and other means.
This is a great opportunity for someone very interested in a career in social media to get real experience and develop the techniques needed to get a concept out into the mass market. Interest in the London events and entertainment sector is massive, so this is a really big and exciting project that aims to get 100,000s plus followers on social media plus a similar ball park figure in terms of monthly website hits.
What we are looking for:
1. Someone looking for a career in social media.
2. Someone extremely competent in using facebook and twitter.
3. Someone with an interest in and/or experience of promoting events.
4. Someone who is a good communicator with a fluent and engaging writing style.
5. Someone prepared to do some self-study and research to improve their social media marketing techniques.
6. Someone who can work independently and take initiative.
7. Someone excited by the challenge of getting their message out to 100,000s of Londoners!
